Digging Deep on Our Alternative Property Management System

If you sit down to have a conversation about property management for small, scatter-site buildings, people in the industry will often reflect that this is not an easy thing to do. But we are determined to do it well. To build a system that starts at the core, with our residents. We have found a mission-aligned partner in Common Good Management and RNS.  But it is a slow process to get it right — requiring a combination of speaking up, patience, perseverance, and collective creativity. This is not just an opportunity, but an essential moment for our residents to lean on their leadership to make sure we get it right. This is the heart of community governance.

On October 20th, many of our residents, members of our Board, staff, and the Common Good Management/RNS team came together for a few hours to identify the challenges and create transformative pathways for a successful model of property management, that ensures the well-being, comfort, stability, and strength of our CLT residents.
