Resources for Families in Boston Public Schools

  • Food & Toiletry Distribution: BPS is providing free toiletries and menstrual products, as well as breakfast, lunch and limited to go meals at locations across the city, Monday - Friday, 8:30-11:30 AM. For more information visit: bostonpublicschools.org/freemeals 

  • Grocery store gift card request: MUST be completed by a BPS staffer, on behalf of families. To request a Grocery Store Gift Card, please complete this form. Cards are mailed to families by Catie’s Closet with a box of toiletries. Please notify families information will be shared with them. 

  • College Advising Services: College advising for seniors is still available! This document will be updated weekly for students! Questions? Contact Marsha Inniss-Mitchell, minniss@bostonpublicschools.org 

  • Technology: If families do not have access to a computer at home, please encourage them to call 311.

  • School Registration and Assignment: The BPS Welcome Center is available to register your student(s).  For registration or assignment questions call 617-635-9010 or visit: https://www.bostonpublicschools.org/register
