Resident Spotlight: Mr. Marshall Cooper

Finally, BNCLT would like to take a moment to highlight our eldest resident, Mr. Marshall Cooper. He began his fight for his home in 2008, during the housing crisis, with BNCLT (then known as the Coalition for Occupied Homes in Foreclosure, COHIF) and City Life/Vida Urbana. BNCLT was able to later purchase his home. Mr. Marshall has also fought alongside others to help keep them in their homes. He is 88 years young and still actively participates in BNCLT meetings. He is very sharp and makes sure that he will be heard. He still fights ‘til this day for what he believes. Thank you for your voice, Mr. Marshall Cooper!
