In Memory of Tunde Kunnu

Baba Tunde, one of the original tenants of 6 Humphreys Place who fought so hard to win the community victory to stay in their home, recently passed away, suffering from his second major stroke. On July 22nd, friends of Baba Tunde gathered at 6 Humhreys to memorialize his life and share poignant, funny, and admiring stories of this man who led a full and powerful life. He inspired so many through his willingness to fight for his people, to stand up to injustice, and to spread his infectious laugh, humor, and emotions with the people around him, even in moments of tremendous challenge.  His life force lives on through the people who hold the torch in the collective fight for justice.
