Mayor Janey and Boston City Council Allocate $20m for Housing Acquisition

Thanks to the hard work of organizers and our allies at the City of Boston (Ed Flynn, Lydia Edwards, Mayor Janey, and Kenzie Bok in particular), we got about $15.4 M added to the prior $4.6 M of funding for the Acquisition Opportunity Program, and $2 million "for additional land acquisition opportunities (Community Land Trusts)!"

This is big news for our organization. The BNCLT will be able to take advantage of this investment of millions and leverage these resources to create permanently affordable, stable housing in Dorchester, Roxbury and Mattapan.
